I had not formerly come across the band The Queen of Denim, but being a denim blogger, they turned up in one of my online searches as well as I’m glad they did! The diva’s voice is beautiful, and also their videos are wacky and fun to see although also depressing.

Pitchfork defines them as ” a mix of Destiny’s Youngster, just a touch of Madonna’s wild side, with Janet Jackson’s smile– include a body like Jennifer’s.” Or that may just be something they offseted their Facebook page.
Anyhoo, they’re releasing a significant cross-country scenic tour in September, maybe you can capture them in your neck of the woods!
